Our department is built on three strong pillars:

• Infrastructure: We provide a robust, high-performing, and scalable IT foundation. From global connectivity to hybrid cloud platforms, we focus on “cloud only” and “zero footprint” to enable our people to work without limits.

• Operations: Our Operations team ensures the availability and stability of our business-critical systems. We provide functional and technical support for our in-house developed platform Q.One, as well as the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP suite. With smart automation, proactive monitoring, and strong collaboration with end-users, we keep our digital processes running smoothly across countries, teams, and departments.

• Security: In today’s digital world, security is essential. We apply a Zero Trust approach and continuously invest in risk reduction, data protection, and user awareness.

At mateco IT, the Product Development Tribe is key to driving our digital strategy. We use a hybrid delivery model that blends off-the-shelf solutions like Microsoft Dynamics 365 with custom-built applications based on a microservices and event-driven architecture (Java/Angular). This forms the backbone of our Q.one-platform, an integrated application ecosystem used across Europe and beyond

Our Tribe consists of agile, autonomous teams responsible for the full lifecycle of Q.one components. They’re supported by specialized roles, including:

• Cloud Team: delivering scalable and secure infrastructure

• Security Engineers: embedding security throughout development

• Solution Architects: designing robust, future-ready solutions

Together, we deliver high-quality digital solutions that create business value and support mateco’s global operations.

Within the roll-out we work towards the final goal, onboarding the our business on our platform. To achieve this goal, we work closely with the business. We investigate what is needed to onboard our business, we start preparing the platform, train (key)users and make sure everything is in place for the go-live.

Next to the business we also work closely with our own IT colleagues. As part of the roll-out team you are the key player in connecting and communicating with all involved.

Starting april 2024, The Nest will be our new home, a state-of-the art hub with the newest technology and the best work atmosphere. You can find mateco IT at Mannebeekstraat 4, 8790 Waregem, once again sharing offices with the colleagues at Business (TVH Equipment) for the first time in years!
