At mateco IT, we're looking for a Pricing Business Analyst to take ownership of our new pricing platform, Pricefx, and play a central role in its implementation and continuous development across the mateco Group.

As our Business Analyst Pricing, you'll become the go-to Pricefx application expert within mateco IT. You'll bridge the gap between business and IT, translating pricing requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions that make a real difference to our teams.

As Pricing Business Analyst, you will:

• Gather and analyse business requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, understand existing processes and translate improvement opportunities into clear, actionable requirements, including futureproof process improvements.

• Translate requirements into functional solutions: Work closely with Group Pricing, the Pricing Business Process Manager and other stakeholders to turn pricing rules and business needs into clear functional solutions. Challenge requirements, ask the right questions and focus on simplicity and standardisation.

• Configure and optimise Pricefx: Take ownership of the application's configuration, including price lists, calculation logic, quotations, approval workflows and dashboards. Build scalable solutions that can be rolled out across different countries.

• Ensure solution quality: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during the pilot phase and take the lead in testing activities for subsequent country rollouts, ensuring everything works as expected.

• Train and support users: Organise training sessions, act as the main point of contact for colleagues, facilitate knowledge sharing and provide second-line application support.

• Drive continuous improvement: Stay up to date with Pricefx developments, assess change requests and proactively identify opportunities to improve our pricing applications and processes.

Does this sound like you?

• You hold a master's degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Commercial Engineering, IT or a related field.

• You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Application Consultant or in a similar role.

• You have experience working with business applications and SaaS platform and you have an affinity for pricing concepts such as price lists, discounts, margins and pricing calculations.

• You have strong technical affinity, advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of data flows and system integrations.

• You have experience with software implementations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), rollouts and end-user training.

• You're an analytical professional who enjoys connecting business and technology. Someone who can turn complex challenges into practical solutions, takes ownership and thrives in an environment with multiple stakeholders.

• You're fluent in Dutch and English.
